"Bohm the quantum physicist's model " Although some people make these claims(Speers05) www.geocities.com/rjs121576/qnd.doc, it is hard to see if Bohm actual belived in "orchestrated objective collapse"

Measurements vs. Meanings
Interesting point someone made the other day. I would appreciate some feedback from a seasoned scientific point of view.
A scientist and a philosopher go to an art museam (no, this is not the beginning of a joke) and stop at a beautiful Monet painting. The philosopher begins looking for impressions, meanings, and the message the painter is conveying through the painting. The scientist says, "well this painting was made of oil paint which is made up of xyz chemical substance", "the frame is made of this type of wood which measures xyz dimensions and is made of xyz", "the canvas is made of a cotton substance which is composed of this atomic structure".
Both have rendered two points of view and gained a deeper understanding of the painting through their observations. Which in your opinion is more useful for the human being?

FEYNMAN SAID: "I have a friend who's an artist and he's sometimes taken a view which I don't agree with very well. He'll hold up a flower and say, "Look how beautiful it is," and I'll agree, I think. And he says - "you see, I as an artist can see how beautiful this is, but you as a scientist, oh, take this all apart and it becomes a dull thing." And I think that he's kind of nutty. First of all, the beauty that he sees is available to other people and to me, too, I believe, although I might not be quite as refined aesthetically as he is; but I can appreciate the beauty of a flower. At the same time, I can see much more about the flower than he sees. I can imagine the cells in there, the complicated actions inside which also have a beauty. I mean it's not just beauty at this dimension of one centimeter, there is also beauty at a smaller dimension, the inner structure. Also the processes, the fact that the colors in the flower evolved in order to attract insects to pollinate it is interesting - it means that insects can see the color. It adds a question: Does this aesthetic sense also exist in the lower forms? Why it is aesthetic? All kinds of interesting questions which shows that a science knowledge only adds to the mystery and awe of a flower. It only adds; I don't understand how it subtracts." " Poets say science takes away from the beauty of the stars - mere globs of gas atoms. I too can see the stars on a desert night, and feel them. But do I see less or more? The vastness of the heavens stretches my imagination - stuck on this carousel my little eye can catch one - million - year - old light. A vast pattern - of which I am a part... What is the pattern, or the meaning, or the why? It does not do harm to the mystery to know a little about it. For far more marvelous is the truth than any artists of the past imagined it. Why do the poets of the present not speak of it? What men are poets who can speak of Jupiter if he were a man, but if he is an immense spinning sphere of methane and ammonia must be silent? www.nytimes.com/2006/03/14/science/space/14comet.html?ex=1144296000&en=6f74511ea41840df&ei=5070“Hot Material Discovered in Icy Comets” by Waren Leary This article talks about the success of the Stardust spacecraft. This Stardust spent seven years in space. It will take more time to analysis all of the data that was collected by Stardust, but early results examining samples collected from the comet Wild 2 are in. These samples were collected when Stardust passed within 149 miles of the comet near Jupiter in January of 2004. To obtain samples of the comets material, the spacecraft used a collector filled with a substance called aerogel. Aerogel is made of silicon and is composed of 99.8% empty space. Aerogel's unique properties allow it to capture particles without damage. Analyses of the particles collected showed particles that are formed at temperatures exceeding 1,400 degrees Fahrenheit. This new information is evidence against a theory that comets are formed at the edge of the solar system at low temperatures. Further study will determine if the comet was produced from our sun or a distant star. This article is interesting, but it never comes out and tells us what the minerals collected are.

Hey, I started an album at 1:02:03:04:05:06 and finished it tonight at 6pm. I had to cut in to my sleep schedule, but i wanted to get it done on 4-5-6. All new material, a little sloopy because of rush job, but all 1 takes on basic tracks and 95% one take on backing tracks. I can e-mail it to anyone interested, I'll try some temporary hosting solution to see if I can have this up before midnight... degicank.googlepages.com/456www.iranmania.com/fun/pics/

ok, that is it, mostly acoustic guitar, bass, elctric guitar bango, a little keyboard, and some tape scratchin' on a hand held tape recorded with a 90sec loop answering maching tape. I kept the samples on the 90second tape, big pimpin and gettin hot in here, listen for new tape scratch effects now, I have arrchived these samples I recorded when we had our apartment on gill st so now i CAN FEEL comfortable eraseing them(i still feel uncomfortable, but i'll do it anyhow). I only got to sleep for 2 hours but it was worth it I think to get the album out on time and under budget, All songs were writtin as the tape was rollin except the one at the end with the keyboard tracks, that one is similar to POW2 from the westerly days.
