Looks great! Bill, how did you set up the xpsf playlist without having to enter every track? Or did you enter in every track?

I would definitely add my vote to the pile for a randomixation factor on the radio site.
And another project for down the road would be a 'popular link' generator, akin to the highly secret google algorithm. The concept is that a user's individual preferences (generated via click-history) generates matches to other links that the user might prefer. So that the jukebox could gradually become personalized to the individual user.
However this might be costly in terms of time, and unnecessarily delimit exposure to the hidden gems. So forget it, and maybe just worry about the random button when you have a chance, keep up the good work!!!!

I'll look into that. The track listing is actually already a randomized selection from econocank online.
Not to be a wise ass, but there is 900 tracks there. You can move the slider bar randomly and click play and you will have a random selection. That is unless you've listen to all 900 tracks already.

I think autorandomization would be realy good, either that or a reconfiguration that is not truly random but puts the best tracks up first. The player has been a great advancment, the randomization is on the wish list, don't worry if it is something meant for the future.
My internet reighn of terror has come to an end, (unless you can advise me on bypassing the password inquiry at windowsxp start up. I'll still be able to check in, but for now I will shift focus to music and some video production, I'l just mail noob the data...

Don't worry we're sending your degilaptop momentarily. Hopefully you'll have an ethernet connection you can tap into somewhere.

Yeah bill i kind of thougt the same thing (i.e. 900+ songs), but somehow (perhaps through the magic of cellular mutation) i seem to end up listening to the same 50 tracks on a regular basis. And no kidding, ever since joe gave me the entire econocank subscription, i have absorbed much of it in previous lives. So perhaps the problem is not "randomization" but rahter "hey joe we're looking forward to the sequel to automatic writings"

what would be really wonderful is top 100 or 250 or 500 or 1,000 songs in order from top to bottem with an option to randomize.

Hey, people that play instruments in planet22, what ever happened to the song called "the tunnel". I always like that version that is on the econocank (the dj drum machine and keyboards). Maybe the september show could include a revised performance of this little ditty for a hootinany!

YO!!!!
I've got a copy of Planet 22 at Chuck's farm dvd but I can't copy it. I've officialy been shut out of my work computer, but I told them everything I did on it and didn't get in trouble. The super boss was like, "I saw these wesites and thought, what kind of a person do we have working here?"
