Hello..I just wanted everyone to know that I played my first official live show in Orlando this past weekend. My girlfriend and I were in this local dive called "Fish on Fire" where we visit on occassion for a drink or eight, and there happened to be a kick ass blues band up on Saturday night. Just a couple of older guys jamming. I listened to them play for about three or four songs, and then they played this version of redhouse that was great! This old guy was really good! Anyway, my girfriend said I should get up there and play but I hesitated. I got real nervous but got enough go-nads to talk to the musicians and it turns out they brought me up for a couple of songs. It was great! I played lead guitar in the first song (which is a song that I am playing right now), "Please Love Me". Originally by BB King but I played the Otis Rush version. It was insane and they really enjoyed it. Then a bit later I jumped in for a little Johnny B Goode. I hope to play with these cats again. They welcomed me back for more blues sessions any time. If something more organized comes out of it I will post it and hopefully fill this bar with Degicankians from all over! Anyway, it felt so good playing with those guys and playing good.

awesome! way to go Kinder! give me a ring when you are back in Philly. You should come down to The Fire on Saturday, three great bands and "Live Art". One of the bands being The Daily Supplement, the other two Chuck's Farm alums as well. Definitely give me a call when you return in Philly.

I am in Philly. I tried to ring you a couple of different times and left you messages. I am only in Florida for long weekends every other week right now. So maybe I am using the wrong number. Let me have your current phone number Chris.
Also, in addition (and this has absolutely nothing to do with this thread), I have been wondering how I can personally upload images into a thread (instead of text), or with text. If I make some cool computer art or something, I would want to post it here. Do I have rights to this function? If not, can I obtain rights for this?

Talk to bill. He'll give you the username and password to the degicank FTP and then you'll spend weeks trying to access it before giving up.

You'll need to get your pics on the web to share them. You can use the free degicank FTP server to upload images. You can also use flickr.com to upload images as well and join the degicank group that ive setup. www.flickr.com/groups/degicankians/www.flickr.com/photos/degicank/You won't be able to post images on this forum unless the images are already hosted on the web. You can email me images and I will post / host them for you as well. If you want to use the FTP server do a search on this forum for instructions on how to upload. You can also setup a myspace account and share your photos and music there. There is also hundreds of other photo sharing sites out their that you could use as well...
