Im still getting the hang of this degity list, i hope this message attaches to the 'degithread' and doesnt start a new thread. See im a conservationist. I wanted to comment, as far as the paperless office concept goes, im a big fan...but on the other hand, i have constant access to a copier, but most importantly--i have massive reserves of 1-sided paper i run <through> the copier, meaning NO WASTE copying, as long as the produced copies dont mind having some random bit of nonsense on the other side. Some samples of the <reverse side paper> include farm machinery bills-of-sale, psychological profile testing workbooks, 5th-rate poetry by 1st year english students, and confidential client information for some people i used to work for (not SFI, seriously). In any case, my point is that if anyone on this list sees a need for flyers, etc, please feel free to send me graphic/etc and requests (unoclay@hotmail.com) and i'll print the shiz ASAP.
hey i'll be in state college at Zeno's tomorrow night (thursday 3/12/03) with SaMANtha, royboy, Rombomb, and any other scwhillies who choose to represent. Lookking in your direction Jackman and Eli lady.
Namely: me.

sorry about the confusion, i meant Deg I Cank Records was trying for a paperless office. Key(less). Evevntualy I hope all groups to follow this philosophy, but for now we are just testing it with our Vermont office. Hopefully within a few years we will have all of degicank switch to less paper or hemp paper, but for now we are in the planning stage. If you notice though all p22 flyers josh prints are on the backs of used paper. I am not an enviromentalist like a lot of you, you enviromentalist know what works best. Please reuse those papers to make flyers (Reuse), Please create your own flyer(and save me a copy for the archives), please try to make them small, if they don't get into the target's pocket you might as well throw the on the ground yourself. You are a great influence on our organization, since you've been working with us many have helped out that before we're inactive. Don't ask me what the rules are though, I learned it from watching you.

Hey this seemed like the appropriate place/thread to voice this question:
To each of the people who actually "play instruments" (or sing) in p22: i'd be curious to hear about your "favorite performances of all time". I like reading thoughts via the person performing the art, aka what they liked about it, <why> those things are <what> they like, etc. Perhaps this is vicarious masterbation on my part, but then again millions of people subscribe to Entertainment magazine just to read about Jay Lo's rear end, or so i hear. (glancing around nervously) In any case, perhaps this topic would also be of use to the person who'd been proposing to do some sort of overview of youse guys?
anyway if anyone has time i'd read the posts.

(ps i'm leaving for state college in about 3 hours, see you at Zenos tonight, God willing)

Out of the six total shows you've played with the band I guess that would be you're favorite as drew is yelling the whole show and you talk the most during it.
How about a show without the same ten songs you guys have been playing for two years+ now?!?!?

I do actually have to agree with james. I would like to hear some of your older stuff. By older stuff i mean any thing not titled mushrooms on the wall Vol. 1 - 2,000, or anything that is a spin off of a guitarists name. Do you guys remeber the basement of 103. On the wall their was a list about four feet long with all of the current Planet 22 songs. I find it odd how a list that could be barely on four feet of paper can now fit on a 3 x 5 card, with enough room left over to fit the Gettysburg address.
As an assignment for the band I would like all of you guys to try to write done as many Planet 22 songs as you can (even if the name of the song is all you can remember about the song). I am extremely interested to see how many of them you can come up with.

hey confirm or deny the rumors, i probably wont be able to make it, but i could call some fools and try to have a heady audience?!!!!!!!!!

very interesting clay, in response to that last point you made about the matter at hand, here is a response. holy motherload of doc watson songs. www.janwillems.nl/docwatson/albframe.htmsocial commentary: 'could doc watson access this website and find his songs?' maybe using jaws (an audio computer screen reader thing) www.freedomscientific.com/fs_products/software_jaws.aspi don't think anyone without sight could get through the doc watson chord site using the screen reader software above. forever humbled as i may be by it's presence, some irony exists because doc could not even use the shrine, tribute, collection, resource site created in his name. with all that aside... there are chords to some old songs i never thought i would find. 'in the jailhouse now' i had a friend named cambel he'd cheat and steal and gamble i guess he tried most every game in town we went out tomcattin one nite (meow) then we got in a great big fight and then a big policeman came and knocked him down i told him once or twice, to stop drinking gin, and shooting dice, he's in the jailhouse now * it's a moving and inspiring experience, and invariably brings to my mind some contemptuous remarks of rousseau's on europeans who have abandoned freedom and justice for the peace and repose "they enjoy in their chains." *indicate: taken completely out of context twice removed

James, my friend, you seem to have mistaken YET AGAIN!!!! Our dear friend Dru was not yet 21 when we played at the Cafe (21+). Keep trying buddy...hang in there! YOU CAN DO IT! Actually, as far as audience members of the Cafe 210 show, it features a very special union of the UNO and 22 (I have restricted myself from using the word Degic*nk because of rumors they have a factory in Turkey making mock-chinese missiles to destroy civilian population and place the blame on China...just a rumor). But review of the Cafe 210 show will bring a moistness to the eye when one of the still-local UNO reps Leon won the contest for furthest distance travelled to see the show (all the way from Centre Hall!!!). I have to apologize for letting the lights and comotion prevent me from knowing who the winner actually was (I thought someone yelled Tim and I couldn't see anyone in the croud with the lights in my eyes). But the artifact remains, and will sure to be a collectors item when UNO and Degi-Bush take over the bullet riddled world!

no shiz that was leon? I wish they said it on the cds (for archival purposes) so your apology is much accepted. That band is always giving shoutouts to the wrong guy, how the schnell did that big schwilled dude win the dance contest at ABC last week, i was so obviosuly smacking his ass with more gusto than his entire dance.
hope the show was a good one on saturday night, sorry no be there i was pretty far from the center of teh world that evening. I had abotu 4 white russians in your honor though.
in the words of ed mcmahon, "hey-o!"

You can hear the crowd yelling "Leon" (the crowd being Samantha), but then my misinformed hynie-hole kept yellin "Tim? Tim who? Tim from Centre Hall? You just won a free CD!!" and so on... So it is on the CD, for archival purposes, but so is my humbling Infinite Goof-up. But as they say (they, again, being samantha) "I'm just get payed to sit around and drink coffee and smoke cigerettes and be cynical...you got a problem with that?" No, Sam, we don't

hey to respond to degicanks list and his comments, i would like to ask a member of planet 22 who i have seen to please learn some of these other songs. Ive been happy to see you people play music for quite a bit of time and even reviewed a performance on unolist back about 2 years ago. I think it would be real great if you all played the entire list in order some time, preferably at Chuck's farm. 22 hour jam in chronological order of joining us. backwards then front please.
yes!!

The prom is a magical experience, a chance to do such grown-up things as get all dressed up, drink nine Smirnoff Ices, vomit in a limo, and pass out in Mom's azalea bushes.
Do not attempt to finger-bang your date until a slow song comes on.
Prom night is one of the most memorable nights of your life, so don't ruin it by neglecting to wax. No guy wants to go down on a gorilla salad.
Achieve local celebrity and serve as a valuable cautionary tale by drinking too much at the post-prom party, plowing your Trans Am head-on into another car, and killing yourself, your date, and four kids from St. Vitus.
Don't feel pressure to have sex just because it's prom night. Stopping at a tongue up the ass is perfectly acceptable.
