Hey there, I just listened to most of the Econoclank cd and i must say it reminds me of when royce and i were sick from school in 5th/3rd grade. Royce used to make us watch endless hours of Pinwheel on Nickalodeon, a show which i detested. However the thing about the new CD is that it manages to avoid the parts of 'pinwheel' which i hated (the stupid skits) and include the more favorable sections, aka the theme music. I am assuming the reason is because Frank, Pat, and Eli were the brains behind that television show. Actually i couldnt say enough good about this cd if i tried and it would only end up being a bunch of pandering nonsense. If p22 needs fliers and advertising for the show in Philly im gonna be doing it whether you like it or not. Let me know if any particular stratagy is desired. If nobody replies i'll probably just stand on the streetcorner and yell a lot.

Dear Mr.: If i knew how to promote the pot4pat idea i would, but the link you sent me took me to a picture of mr. p but there was nothing else to do there. If you want people to simply look at the picture it can be arranged. However if there was intended to be something else let me know.

I used to watch that show too. Joe tried to act like he didn't like it, but he really did. We used to share the tv, one show was my choice the the next was Joe's. He would always act like he was P O'd when I would put pinwhell on.
I cant even remember what the theme song was like. Maybe it would be a good remix for a new degi-maxi- single

Oh, you guys liked my show!?! Cool, I was hoping to reach out to good folks like you when it was creation, but sometimes creation is sometimes it in itself with everything else just sorta fartin around and clanking on the heating vents...

What goes up must come down Spinnin' wheel got to go 'round Talkin' 'bout your troubles it's a cryin' sin Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel spin
You got no money and you got no home Spinnin' wheel all alone Talkin' 'bout your troubles and you never learn Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel turn
Did you find the directing sign on the Straight and narrow highway Would you mind a reflecting sign Just let it shine within your mind And show you the colors that are real
Someone is waiting just for you Spinnin' wheel, spinnin' true Drop all your troubles by the riverside Catch the captian's favorite wafer on the spinning wheel ride

hey,
if one were to wish to burn the cds that exist on the hedi-cank cd onto new cds, im wondering about the particular track order. I guess this question is for joe. See i figured out you'd need to convert the tracks to .wav or something, but then there are so many tracks that seem to be 'free floating' around on the cd....see i want to listen to the stuff in the car and the Mp3s wont play there. So is there an order or arrangement to the ways one should retreive and recreate the 'original' recordings, especially if burning for other people? I havent quite gotten it extracted yet but i bet it'll happen soon.

Burning the MP3's from the "Econo Cank" to a regular audio disc is possible but not recommended. The sounds quality just isn't there. I would recommend getting a higher quality recording of the tracks that you want to put on an audio CD. You can order a custom made CD, it only cost like 1 degi dollar I beleive. Contact Dr. Feelgood. He has some connections for rare CD's. ;D

Although Bill is moderator of planet 22, and pretty high up at Deg I Cank, he has not taken an active role in distrubution at deg i Cank Records since Pot for Pot heads. The whole reason I made Econocank was so we could hand you one disc and you could turn it into twenty. The Mp3's are fine, In my opinion some of the mp3's sound better than original wave files due to the compresion. As for song order, each folder is an album, burn your favorite alboms out, or I would prefer you burn out your favorite tracks. in fact i am very interested in everyone one's top hits from econo cank so I know which ones are big hits. After you find your best album's worth of tracks let me know and I'll put out the "Unoclank Edition: The very Best of Econocank".

I hope my inquiry about the eco-clack cd order didnt cause any sibling rivalry. I thank you both for your comments and concerns, and once i get the stuff extracted and burned i will happily offer a third opinion as to the relative quality of mp3>wav copies. As to my favorite tracks, i am likely to end up saying that they are all equally excellent, but i'll be sure to begin taking notes on which ones turn my crank the most frequently. Here is one of the funniest onion posts i've read in over a year. If you aren't familiar with the writings of Mr. Jim Anchower, get ready, cause he's the ultimate. Didnt the Bible claim the truth would arrive in the humble guise of a stoner? www.theonion.com/onion3522/cut_back_on_weed_3522.htmltake er easy, its a snow day in Philly oh yeah!! _CL

WE must move one. I will do anything I can do to promote degicank. I have been slacking, but that does not mean I havn't beem doing anything. I've been thinking about it allot. I love the econo cank. I think its the greatest things since sliced bread! 6 hours of music on one CD?!?!? We need to take hold of this opertunity before the mp3 craze/fad goes away. I think we'll have about another 6 months... Even then, theres still some novelty in putting a cd in your computer and getting music or whatever else is on there....

Agrreed! I wasn't saying you weren't doing anything, You are doing more than anyone (Well , Speers bros and Clay Bros are The top workers right now, we all do our best) i know you are always working: Rule #1 : NEVER STOP
I just ment I hadn't gone over the degicank records distribution plan with you since you made "POT 4 Potheads" Econcank 3 is next. If anyone has advice or submitions for Degiconomy series let me know. i have a lot of material myself but remember degicank is a club, not an oligarchy. We have 6500 megabytes of space left for the econocank year. We will Pause the series at new years (maybe, depending on status of mp3 fad).

I think a key to the success of the Economy-clank cds might be to somehow include a viable mp3 decoder--i am fairly computer illiterate, yet spent a great number of hours teaching my computer how to decode the mp33s into .wav files for burning onto individual cds. perhaps a SUPER-VISIBLE .text file documenting the process, plus an archived copy of MKW's shareware decoding software would be appropriate? For instance, when you access the cd on the computer, one of the first files would be labeled "how to burn to cds" or something.....
I know a little work never hurt a dedicated degihead, but if reaching the masses is an objective, then assistance on Degi3 might be warrented. Not all the freaks in the world are as talented as us/them.
