I was going to work on the Degicank DVD for 2003. I am still wondering however, if any captured the audio in ones and zeros. If not and still go ahead with production but I was curious. also if any one can think of any thing that should go in a web based display of this festival drop me a line. If any one is interested in referencing last year's Festival I have provided the URL. - There is sound so if you have speakers, mind your levels www.personal.psu.edu/users/w/k/wkw108/timeq.html

You thats awesome Doc. Let me know If I can be of any assitance... I dont know if there was any audio recordings done. Didn't your camera record audio?
Wow a DVD would be really awesome. I cant wait to see corey get nuts...
Is a DVD really necessary? We could put it on a regular 650MB CD with lower quality video, like videoCD and you can fit about 1 hour of half decent 600X400 video with audio at 20 frames per second, and also have it play in almost any standard off the shelf DVD player...
Allot cheaper then DVD disc not to mention the cost of a DVD burner...

Looks like we might have to ask Dr Cank to take care of the audio from now on too. He has been asked to lead the photographing and video crews and as of yet he has not disappointed.
What can you say about someone who works a full week at an office, is a fulltime student working on a thesis and a full time Deg I Cank employee? looks like we have a top runner for the screaming testicle award this year!
The screaming testicle has not been awarded since Dave Ley won it back in 1993. It's been ten years folks, I nominate Dr Cank. Do I hear a second?

Yeah Bill, I know, you have a point a DVD is a bit inconvievable at this point. The CD media is probably a more appropriate choice. and to address your other point, there is audio from the camera but not of the qulity that I can be proud of.
Oh and James, I don't know whats wrong with vocal balls, but if the problem persists I suggest seeing a doctor.

I would like to support the idea of a DVD for DegiFest 2003
After it is made, a dumbed down CD version can easily be produced.
CD's will be obsolete in such a short period of time, i suggest we go for DVD right now. We don't want our hard work and the talent of all the artists and technicians involved to become the equilivilent of 8-tracks from the 70's.
Do you guys even know what an 8 track is?
