On to the Ruba!
The run at the Pontiac has come to a close. Thank you to everyone for coming out Wednesday after Wednesday and giving us your love. We definately felt it onstage and we hope you did too. We also want to thank Ron Forczek and Bohemian Sunrise, The Sinister Mr. Ihba and the staff at the Pontiac.
Last nights set speaks for itself:
Rate Race Trenchtown Rock Rebel Music Burnin and Lootin Concrete Jungle Bush Doctor Dem Belly Full* Get Up Stand Up
*Sinister Mr. Ihba and Jah D chants
We'll be bringin' the positive vibration to the Ruba club, 414 Green St. in the Northern Liberties section of Philly on March the 6th with Ihi Yahn Ihi Arkestra and Version Sound. That's right, a Saturday night gig. And yes, it's gonna be a party!
The new BabylonBus.com will be launching soon! It's gonna have a new look and tons of new features! Keep and eye out for it over the next few weeks. Also, don't forget to check out Jambase.com for Babylon Bus dates and other local music. Go see live music!
The Bethlehem (PA) Musikfest is set for August and The Bus will be making two stops. We'll be sharing the stage with national reggae acts John Brown's Body and Jah Works on Friday August 13th and then again on Sunday the 15th. This is a free show!
Thanks again to everyone who made this month's residency at the Pontiac a success!! We'll see you real soon.
-Mark

Philzone.com - Phil Lesh and Friends Poll Where do you live? No. CA & Northwest (143) 11% So. CA & Southwest (58) 4% NY, NJ, PA, CT (457) 35% Other Northeast (137) 10% MD, VA, DC & surrounding (92) 7% Southeast - NC, SC, FL, ect (135) 10% Midwest (182) 14% CO and central (68) 5% Southcentral (19) 1% Outside of US (32) 2%
Total Votes: 1323
Exiting polls taken during elections have proven to be quite accurate (except for 2000). so maybe a summer tour based regionally to not only us(degicank/planet 22) but also 35% of your potential audience (vs the 15% pull where 22 has been touring most frequentlly) is just what the doctor ordered.
no telling jack to shut up when he reiterates forever that he was correct all along

Many of you have asked me to let you know when MORF plays an early slot. After all, late night Tuesday slots can be a bit hard to manage. Well, this week we're on at 9:30. Mt. Tabor Pub 49th & SE Hawthorne. Also on the bill are the Funky Monks @ 11. They are, in a word, funky. See you there! Don't forget that every Tuesday is MORF & Friends at the Tabor. morF - www.morfzone.com

I guess josh is more interested in other bands than his band. What is with this?
the last eight posts josh has made are of other people and other bands. if you want to progress stop regressing!!
Planet 22, nothing else no matter how many flat screens you think you can sell to them later on.
unless there are no objections to rufus playing drums from now on. i don't think his wife would lock him in a car when he's supposed to play.
