Well, chuck's farm 2004 went off spectacularly and was more that one could even hope for. The motorcycle went through the hoop during a stellar Planet22 set, bands from near and far came to play and played very VERY well. And while we are still glowing in the aftermath of this gala event, I wanted to RIGHT NOW start talking about next year's Chuck's. Every year the planning and team work gets better and better. Dozens of people played very important roles this year in making it all happen and without them it never would have transpired, at least not in all its magnificence. But little planning was done this until two weeks before the festival.
If anyone would like to start talking about what went really well this year and what could be improved for next year, we here at DEGICANK Productions are listening. So if you have any ideas that could help us plan better for next years, let us know. I know one point that was already brought up was the archiving of such a grandiose event. If any one has ideas on how to archive Chuck's Farm, what kind of media, man power, ect. let us know. Remember, whatever we do at chuck's it must remain a free event. So any contributions that anyone would like to make must be strictly voluntary and in the mind set of just helping to create one of the greatest experiences in our lifetime. So, until we meet again around that heartshaped fire, may we all dream and create our own reality.
thank you,
Christopher Cank Fellow Eulipian

Don't forget the flaming hoop shot: www.geocities.com/rjs121576/flaminghoop.htmlLooks like Dr. Naqules is primed for a closing spot saterday. I think a band that shows more interest and helps out should get a better spot than a band that makes lots of noise off stage distracting everyone from the quieter acoustic acts.

Time slots are not of concern yet....one thing at a time. I will get together with Chuck, after July 22nd, and all bands have submitted thier info and we will discuss those details, as well with the bands involved.
I appreciate all the input I have been recieving, thank you!

If anyone would like to discuss the ideas for Chuck's this year, there is a new are to do just that! First, if you haven't done so already, please visit www.chucksfarm.comThen within the site please visit the message board to post your ideas: www.websitetoolbox.com/tool/mb/chucksfarmIf that message board doesn't get used soon I am going to have to let it go into hoc, and just use this one....which may not be a bad idea.

simplify.
You don't need a different doillie for each plate on the table, especially if the plates only contain half baked unrealistic dishes.
Let chucks be discussed anywhere but if you want to progress inlife just keep it where it has been for the past three years; here with DEGICANK. You don't need to have something new just to show it off, can I get a witness to support me?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I reluctantly and respectfully witness. The new site is awesome and great work, but many people are used to using this forrum. You should link the new site to this message board as we have seen work for degicank.com and degicank.50megs.com. please remeber the K.I.S.S. principle.

I do believe in the K.I.S.S. method, that is why I decided to separate the two so it, it wouldn't be so confusing, ie: you wanna plan for chucks, go to this specific site., ect.
But since it seems I am getting some negative feedback on this, I guess I will have to change it back.
I will say this, I have been recieving nothing but positive feedback on the other board...
We already have the sound systems somewhat hashed out, and I had some constructive criticism on the web site in general. Matt Chenai has even tried to plan for a didjereedoo choir....
We are all operating under the same umbrella here ladies, DEGICANK and I don't have dollar signs in my eyes, I'm just trying to keep things organized....

Okay I made a few changes to the site, so hopefully it will be easier to view, please let me know what you think.
In addition the message board now links here now instead of that new message board i made. There was some good ideas on that one, so hopefully we can spill them over to this one.
thanks for all your input,
Chris

I spoke with the spirits of Byzantium and they are most assuredly ready to play at chuck's!
The Byzantine Empire will never fall!
Especially with our new secret weapon from Canada!
Our Agent in Panama will be bringing a new jungle funk to the table as well!

I hope they don't suck s_h_i_t anytime between 8pm and 4am either night. Those guys suck like sorority gilrs during RUSH week.
Maybe some day someone will realize that retarded 10 year olds s_h_i_t_t_i_n_g themselves sounds better than B E.
Thank you and F you!!

Don't forget the flaming hoop shot: www.geocities.com/rjs121576/flaminghoop.html"Looks like Dr. Naqules is primed for a closing spot saterday. I think a band that shows more interest and helps out should get a better spot than a band that makes lots of noise off stage distracting everyone from the quieter acoustic acts." Is this supposed to be a rip on alchemy? (If not I apologize) but I think it is. I have been a long time alchemy fan and I really dont understand what the beef is between alchemy and dr. naq. They are both good bands and they, as far as I understand, are all friends. Also, in alchemy's defense... 1. As if they (and their friends) were the only rowdy people at chucks. If this is what you think take a look around next time. 2. In the past three years alchemy has been a major player in the workings of Chucks farm. Mainly, the continual usage of their equipment, especially when Stanton was in the band. Looking forward to another good time (no matter who gets a better spot) -Fan
