A very good point Joe, however some bands sing or use horns or other devices in need of amplification. We have had a PA almost every year and don't tell me the bands that played didn't appreciate it.
As far as time is concerned, we have had a schedule every year too. I've watched that schedule fall apart as well. If it is the natural order for things to fall apart, then so be it, but lets at least try to be organized. There are a lot of people who care about Chucks, a lot of musicians that would love to play there more than anywhere else. Why not try and get things to run as smooth as possible so we don't repeat the same mistakes that have occured in the past?

I'm not understanding at all why this little redheaded pediphile is even talking about chucks farm. Four of the years his band was booked to play they never did due to band members not ready, sleeping, f***ing or what have you. The times p 22 did play they played a five hour long set with no concern for the other three bands still trying to play that night.
Weather it be because of drugs or wives planet 22 has NOT played as many times as they HAVE played chucks farm. No one in town even knows who they are anymore. I say we get P 22, von Cello, this ernie queer, jeff curtis and all these other washed up "chuck's for years" preformers and send them out to the second stage in millheim at the VFW.

Here, here!!
Here, here!!
lets get some State College bands rockin chucks!!!!
With all the bands in town you guys don't need planet 22 or caveman or anything outside of centre county for that matter!!!!
Keep chucks respectable no out of towners or out of towners bands; just the music we want to see Dr Naqleus, Alchemy, Daily Supplement, The Nightcrawlers, Crack Factor, Katsu, Kofi, J.R. and Donna, Dusk til Dawn, OSP, Velveeta, emily's toybox, Giants of Science etc.
There are plenty of bands to lay right there. Tell evryone else you'll need to see thier voter registration card and tax records to identify county residence. If they're not from centre county then thier just another audience member
Peace out bitches-
Dr Chuck Buck

Well, like it or not haters, Planet 22 is a great band filled with really great musicians. They are also good people and have helped out with Chucks in the past in more ways than you can imagine. Ernie is right, you'll probably see Caleb to be the first person cleaning up the place come Saturday or Sunday morning.
I know that if they did not play at Chucks this year, I wouldn't be there either. And if JR and whatever bimbo he's got now plays, then I'll impale myself on that rusty sawtoothed farm equipment that is next to the path on the way to the stage.
State College is filled with a lot of great bands, but you shouldn't be a card carrying member of Centre County to play at Chuck's, that would be the absolute dumbest thing ever.
So far the bands that have contacted me so far and will be playing at Chuck's include: Dr. Naqleus, Patchwork Blu, Luv Clam, The Daily Supplement, Alchemy, Planet 22, and The Northen Shovelers. There are a few more that Chuck has talked to and one band that I haven't had a chance to contact yet that have emailed me, Doodis.
I'm sure there will be more.
Stay positive,
Chris

eek, DR Chuck Buck....what type of reality-escaping supplement are you on and can I get some? No P 22 and only Centre County residents? Shoot, guess our keyboard player will have to be an audience member...what a ridiculous suggestion...keep em coming they're entertaining.

I haven't heard from the Nightcrawlers this year, I'll make sure they know about it and see if they are interested.

Wait, i forgot the reason i logged into this thread, so now i revoke the 'not over' status. Does anyone have a pickup truck that we can use to haul recyclables down the road to the borrough dumpsters? I will gladly dedicate several hours to the recycleable-processing task if i know there will be an avalable vehicle to haul the bags in.
