tom, former drummer of dr.NAQ and mike "bass" have a side project (aka DJ fred)...maybe they could be a filer or pick it up after TDS and propell the jams into hyperspeed...
james, joe, chris, or anyone else, do you remember the st.patty's day jam session back in '02 at 432? where we rotated musicians in and out seemlessly? maybe we could organize something like that, compile a list of musicians, nothing written in stone, to leave room for any unexpected appearances. it could be dubbed "chuck's farm reunion jam"? peanut gallery?
"chuck's farm reunion jam" guestlist: (in progress)
bass and drums from b.puzzle kordish steve f tom (dr.Naq) mike (bass) kelleher jack clary eli caleb joe josh alchemy members "the man" members TDS members
who else? this could be really insane...maybe even apocalyptic...

I'm wondering if the schedule/line-up that James posted here is the most recent. I would like to put it on the campaign web site, friendtoelectchuck.com. I check this board regularly and I can makes changes as they are announced, since it sounds like the line-up is not quite finalized. I've gotten requests for the line-up from those contacting the web site, and I'd like to have something to tell them. I'd also like to have something to tell people who inquire at Farmer's Market this Friday and next. I work at Chuck's stand at the market and also function as his secretary, both for the campaign and in general.
Is someone working on flyers for the Harvest Festival? I will print up a band line-up to post at Farmer's Market, but for those of you who have seen my rather bland posters for the recent fundraising events, you know I am not someone who can artistically capture the spirit of this sort of music or event. If anyone is doing flyers, perhaps you could make sure we have some at next Friday's market (Oct. 6) to hand out. Thanks.

Let's not forget alien red if they are scheduled.
I like the Cootie Brown->Alien Red->The Borderless Puzzle->Planet22-> The Daily Supplement line up for saturday night. times (as we all know) are just to look organized before hand; once the mothership lands all plans are off!!
i can't even tell you the suprise we have for saturday night around 4am but NOBODY is allowed to play from 4am->? except for the special guest if they arrive. I will know this week. Trust me if they show it will be the biggest suprise act since caveman!!

Saturday 7:30->9pm Cootie Brown 9:15-> 10:45 Alien Red 10:45->11:15ish Jeff Curtis* 11:15ish->1am The Borderless Puzzle 1am->2:30am Planet 22 2:30am-> (or 4:20am) The Daily Supplement {4:20-> Special Guest}# * During this set TBP 22 and TDS shold be loading all thier gear on stage for seemless transitions for the rest of the night. Can we get one person from each band (probably the drummers; or Josh Clary, Joe speers and Scott Shuman) to organize sharing equipment. # This time slot may be needed; if not the late night jams slot should start promptly after TDS set which can run longer than 4am if needed. Thanks to Ben from Alchemy, Brian from Cootie Brown, Ben from The Man, Joe and Steve from Planet 22 (steve is also a TDS camper!) and the Philly crew of TDS for input. Keep it coming. Is friday night cool with everyone? Anyone know if spotus, dakini or any other band we know thinks they are playing Friday at chucks?

james- before you confirm the line up and make it public, touch base with kelleher, 215-292-0608 so you guys are on the same page, and to avoid a chris-cank-meltdown. to confirm alienred's position, here is the email of rob, their manager: ralapick@alienred.net i have asked sarah, manager of spotus if they are planning on coming, but heard no word. just called her, will let you know, but it may be too late. eckert- call kelleher and talk to him about recording and PA. actually, i think ben from "the man" is taking care of PA and lights. he had success at the sept. mini-chuck's. talk to kelleher about recording. karen- go ahead and give people a "tentative" schedule, as long as everyone realizes, it's chucks farm, anything could happen. ATTENTION ATTENTION!!!! VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!!! Dave Barr (the guy who ran sound last harvest fest) is strickly prohibited from being in control of sound this year. many of us were not happy about the quality of sound, and the vibe/attitude/energy that he brought to the scene. he is my friend, but we need him out of there. thank you.

Too much bass and power over all last year. great set-up if we had Bryce Jordan center but not too great for chuck's; i agree steve Dave Barr can do sound just not supply the gear!!!!!!! I feel old saying music at chucks is too loud!! I keep forgetting the tangents, brendan's newer philly band that played the july chucks. maybe we can jam them in saturday afternoon and/or friday night? tahnks everyone for the help; now if i could get kelleher to stop hitting on kristen for one second maybe we could get a line up together. Stay calm chris, philly can be overwhelming especially way the f*** out there in the northeast. maybe kinder could help you out with a lockheed posotion. septa to KOP is not that hard and not very exspensive. please answer your celly when i call from adriennes number . I'll try to make it ealry your time unlike last night. keep the news flowing people!!! drop me a personal message with your phone number if you want to help network using phone lines!! peace

what about luv clam? if the first two bands on friday don't play then we'll need cootie brown to start off chucks (yet again!!) and play until the tangents show up from philly. this will not bump cootie brown from saturdays schedule!!! funny how they end up being the killer band ready to go when called apon. What's up with crack factor/tony? ? friday luv clam or cootie brown The tangents Jeff curtis Alchemy The Man Late night jam saturday cootie brown alien red or The tangents (if they don't play on friday AND if A.R. is a no show) TBP (Josh Clary) Planet 22 TDS (you know TDS)

Hey guys. I appreciate you trying to put up a schedule, (James) but you don't really have any clue what you are doing. This is Chuck's Farm Harvest Fest. need we forget that this is a free even full of community good will peace and love? Have you forgotten that this event goes on every year without a problem because we are all here to have a good time spread love and NOT be rockstars? That being said, this is the tentative schedule for Chucks this year. Please review this and get back to me. I am sorry if you are not happy with your slot, but I am doing the best I can with the limited time there is in a weekend. Late night bands: If you are not happy with your timeslot, we can move you to Sunday, but please understand that a Sunday at Chuck's has never worked ONLY because you have never let it work. If you want music on Sunday, then make sure you tell all your friends that there is music on Sunday and not to scrape thier brain off of the field at the butt crack of dawn and high-tail out of there. Also, as far as sound goes, that is all up to Chuck, but I would feel much more comfortable with renting a sound system for the whole weekend and having MANY people run the sound so that NO ONE gets overly exhausted and decides to pack up camp before the last bands get to play. PLEASE talk to Chuck. He has a meeting at Jamaica Junction Restaurant on Beaver Ave. every Monday night at 7:00PM, be there, make your presence known, and add POSITIVE thoughts to the whole event. Here is the schedule, if you are a band and want to speak to me about the schedule, my email is Kelleher@degicank.com. Now that it is getting closer to the event, I will start responding quickly to all your transgressions. Friday 7:00-8:30 PM Luv Clam 8:45-9:45 PM Gino Goldsmith 10:00 PM-12:00 AM Alchemy 12:30-2:30 AM Alien Red 3:00-5:00 AM The Man 5:00-7:00 AM Cootie Brown? Saturday 12:00 PM Chuck's Farm Play 2:00-3:30 PM The Five Skins 4:00-6:30 PM King Cotton Rounders 7:00-9:00 PM Crazy Daze 9:30-11:30 PM Borderless Puzzle 12:00-2:00 AM Planet 22 2:30-4:30 AM the Daily Supplement 5:00-7:00 AM This Place Is Haunted? Sunday 12:00 PM Chuck's Farm Play 2:00-4:00 PM Cootie Brown? 4:30-6:30 PM Fat Man Band? 7:00-9:00 PM This Place Is Haunted? The bands with the ? are unconfirmed times for them to play, all the rest of the times are confirmed (for the most part). If you have any questions email me or call Chuck and he will call me. And everyone, I know you are all excited, but please relax, Chucks will happen the way it always happens.

Thanks to James and Chris for providing tentative schedules, and to all for their hard work in this event. I will use the most recent schedule I have by Thursday night to post at market on Friday.
Chris mentioned Monday campaign meetings, but they are now only every 2 weeks, 2nd and 4th Mondays, at 8pm, and have been moved to Webster's, instead of Jamaica Junction. There will not be another meeting before the Chuck's Farm weekend. If anyone is having trouble reaching Chuck, you can always leave a message with me at home: 814-234-3438, or cell: 814-880-5425, and I'll get it to him. Chuck can't access his cell voice mail, but you can leave a message on his home answering machine.
Thanks again, everyone.
