Settle down Steve, Any help is welcome, At least when dave does sound he doesn't anounce the show is over while 2 bands are waiting. Anyhow, Ben is Stage manager and PA guy this time, Any assistence should go through Him. Based on activity it looks like chain of command goes:
CHUCK>BENtheman>Crazydave>James>SteveF>ECHERT>KElleher
So if you have a question suggestion start with Chris, if he can't help than move up the chain... don't bother Chuck with small stuff. Stager manager Ben The man can help you, but don't bother him with 20 questions before checking through command chain first...
Yo anyone into putting a band together for early sat afternoon? Yo Bentheman, i've got my synth and have been working on Chameleon, Let me play with you guys please please please please....

joe and co.,
The only slots available right now are 7AM-11AM Saturday and Sunday morning.
And, your right Dave didn't close up shop with two bands waiting, he closed up shop with only one band waiting.
The problem we have is we always get one sound guy to do sound and he gets exhausted by early Sunday morning and can't continue.
Can I get some folks on this message board to volunteer to run sound for at least one performance each so that this same scenario does not occur yet again?

Hey there,
The Tangents are broken up from what i hear, but perhaps you are discussing Brenden and Matt's new project? I have their #s if anyone needs to contact them.
Also, radly Hinton called me last night lookign for info on how to get a slot for the Wissahickon Chicken Shack. I gave him Kelly-her's number, although i dont know if the schedule will not permit more music. They are probably better suited to daytime/AM/early evening schedule due to the nature of music (bluegrass/country/singin) but Brad seemed enthused to play any slot, any time. I also have his # if you need it.
This is interesting to see how things 'work' in the inner sanctum of cankdom. As i was telling DrCank a few months ago, operations of uno-sort tend to be a 1 or 2 man organizing commitee, mainly because it is easier for one or two people to agree quickly than to have "true democracy" (which is a fiction anyway).
In any case it will all be fine i bethca! Once the schedule is situated, we just need to ensure all bands hear the same messages about their timeslot, and if anyone has been CUT, they need to be notified pre-farm, just to ensure no bad stressies for people like YOU.
Personally, I promise to smile and kiss babies no matter what happens

Clay,
Hinton has not called me, (nor do I have his #) but as of right now, all I can offer him is something between 7AM-11AM Saturday or Sunday morning, or Sunday evening.
PLEASE EVERYONE! LETS MAKE THIS AN HONEST TO GOD THREE DAY FESTIVAL! TRY AND STICK AROUND AT LEAST TO EARLY EVENING ON SUNDAY NIGHT SO WE CAN ALL HEAR AS MUCH FATTY BOOM BATTY MUSIC AS POSSIBLE!!!!

somewhere between late night sat. through sunday, DEGICANK CLASSICAL will present a spontaneous performance at chuck's, featuring the music of the founders of western harmony (dead men w/wigs) within the expansive, cosmic experience.
so far the tentative schedule looks like this:
-steve f: bach goes electric series, installment 1- "Goldberg Variations. meets Fender Rhodes"
-kordish: chopin nocturne in bflat minor and other selections
if you or anyone else you know would like to join degicank classical in this experience, please respond. clary?

That would be an excellent in between set experience instead of the usual house techno or whatever.
Keep pushing this Steve!
Maybe Jessica Speers would like to partake in a piece? yes?
