jesus EFFING christ. planet 22 playing again? such bullshit, why can't chuck book bands that people actually like?
Daily Supplement isn't bad, they at least have sogss with vocals and they don't sound like a skipping CD. The night crawlers will probably be the only other band worth even walking to the section 8 stage for anyway. Once planet 22 takes ahold of the stage we'll have the fat man band play at the sick hole.

it would be nice if only positive things were posted on this board. as you may know this will be p22s 12th year playing and they are obviously liked by many others, if not yourself. as your mother may have once told you: if you can't say anything nice, don't say it at all.

so planet 22 started playing chucks farm in the fall of 1995 when joe had not even met 80% of the people who would come and go throughout thier ten year history. infact joe was living in delaware county visiting altoona (not state college) until the fall of 1996 when he moved onto bel air ave forming the dank.
Anyway; it would be nice to have a variety of music instead of the same monotoned, vocal-less 10 hour set. as much as the planet 22 crew hates alchemy they drew a bigger crowd, played a better set and kept a larger crowd than any other band in recent chucks memory.
So.... hopefully this year will mark the end of planet 22's dismal attempt of entertaining a bunch of high school and college kids.

my feeling is, unless you want to get on stage and put a band together yourself, atleast show some appreciation and love to those who are making a musical contribution. the critics are often those sitting on the sidelines. try taking some action instead of cutting others down. don't forget the key word to chucks=FREE
joe, i will join you this weekend, i'm emailing you my phone number right now, send me your number and directions, ship will arrive noonish sat. jack says he can't make it. bartok is coming along, thanks for the suggestion...

Sounds good Steve! I'll email you back directions and phone #, Please ask Jack again...
Vocal-less set? Hey that's why we go so late, so everyone has enjoyed vocal music for two days before we aplly a set that focuses more on synthesia with the physiognomic components of communication. This approach helps interact with the undifferentiated nature of peoples experience when they are very tired from staying up late for 2 nights. We apply each year to the planning commitee with a statment saying, "we don't care how much time is alloted, we just need to know what to plan for". Sometimes we get lucky and play long, sometimes we get 1hr, onetimes we get bumped altogether.
It took a long time to figure out that skipping cd sound!

I don't have much in the way of an opinion about the music, being basically non-musically inclined.
One question.
What "sick-hole" are you refering to?
Down in Chuck's Rainbow Kitchen (first sink-hole on the right) we would be happy to have some quieter, non-amped acoustical music to cook to!
And who is the "Fat Man Band"?
Send them on down!
Blessed Be
Dr. Suitcase

Hi guys. It sounds like it's going to be yet another wonderful weekend in Rebersburg. I can't make it out until Saturday afternoon, but I'm looking forward to seeing everyone once again. Also, I lost my flashlight last year. If anyone happens to find it on Friday, please hold onto it until I get there. Thank you.

I am thanksful to steve f for the optimistic vision of the guitar-sound situation. Steve i never play loud, i dont even like chords, so as far as loudness, i wouldnt worry about me being the blow-up-the-amp factor. I play like 1 note at a time. I like that note to be the one i wanted, so i think i wont play a chord. Maybe 2 notes at a time occasionally, but i like 1 note. If i am awake. I dont know about the cap=itan, he sounds like he might not come up from philly cuz the timing is bad. But that could be good or bad. I think Tara and I will be coming early saturday afternoon due to timing issues of timewarp wormhole availability, plus the Hello dog must be dropped at his doggie grandparents for a sitting. I am in Michigan right now and I just ate a big batch of potato skins with cheese, wow, it makes my brain crazy with sleep effect!!!!!!
