Thats weird you brought this up, I just started looking into my families geneology a few weeks back.
The Weirs are an old Scottish clan, after being pushed out of Scotland by the Anglos most settled into Northern Ireland. Which is where my fathers grandparents where born. Infact the first Scottish name ever recorded is "Ralph Weir"( I can't remeber the spelling, but it's like ralphses.) I went up to visit my father's mother the other day but I didn't have time to bring up the families geneology, but I plan to do so soon.

I'm sayin'. It would be interesting to find the common ancestor of the people who post here. It probably isn't that far into the past, the roots of an upside down tree grow together. I know the scottish folks must be closely related, like me& bill, kirk, perry, james, and president bush... And on the other hand our matrileanial roots go to ireland...

My grandfather, Christopher Stephen Kelleher came over the month before, but I had trouble finding his record. My Dad found it awhile back.
Now to start digging deep.....
