I don't know Joe, James and Chris fighting on a thread is kind of like a deg-i-punctuation. How do you know the sentence is over if not for the period? Every time one of these threads starts getting littered by the nonsense the rest of us are forced to start a new. They are like our own personal Shiva.
But I do agree it is amazing, that for the amount of excrement based conversation on these threads, and no one ever seems to visit the “Trash Talk” forum. If you have a grievance please just copy the post in question and let your accusations fly, just do it in the proper forum.
Business Vs. Personal. (remember where each belong)
not that I have never been guilty of the same offense, But now I promise to lead by example.

He has been getting really hostile lately. I might have to send him back to the west coast, so he can cool off a little. Maybe it isn't healthy to move from Sunny Cali. to a wintery PA so fast?

I love that James,
He goes, on and on about how he wants nothing to do with this project and then precedes to spend hours, copying, pasteing, and commenting on the thread.
Oh and he called me weak. James- Dr has always been scared to do fun things. The drum circle, splintered sunlight, Adam’s house, alchemy and now danger danger. weak.
I've done everything on that list (except, danger danger). I just move at my own pace, and If I am going to be the type of robot that performs the same activity every week like clock work. I am going to make the decision on what my compulsion is. It probably never occurred to you, but I skirted a lot of those activities because they where lame. drum circle, ha you hippie. Though I have been a mindless drone in the past, I did not always share the same enthusiasm about it.
But maybe your right I did miss alot of Alchemy shows. hahaha are you f***in' kidding me, just because you like playing secret touches with the boys from alchemy. Alchemy- oh your right james just think of all the fun times I missed with those "what-are-ya's". Alchemy douche. (nothin against stedmen (but even he became smart enough not to go to their shows))
james said I missed alchemy HA

The article didn't add any info onto the Temperature of the mud. And the Washington post kind of skirted past the probable reason for this semi-rare type of eruption. There is a godd chance this accident occured as a result of drilling looking for natural gas deposits. They went through a week limestone layer, and it is this limestone that seems to be fueling the stream. it is flowing at a rate of 50 olymic sized pools worth a day.
IMHO they are going to end with one of two results: 1) they jam-up this opening, so the mud just finds the next weakest location in which to breach the surface.
2) it cloggs up for a little while and when the pressure is great enough it will blast back through the same oriface, sending those 1,500 concrete balls (weighing ~500lbs each) flying. in essence they have just constructed the worlds largest fragmenting grenade.

Indonesia Drops Balls Into Mud VolcanoThe Associated Press Sunday, February 25, 2007; 2:40 AM SURABAYA, Indonesia -- Indonesian engineers temporarily halted an attempt to plug a fissure that has been gushing mud for nine months, after a steel cable hoisting cement balls into the crater broke Saturday, officials said.
The hot, noxious mud has displaced 13,000 people and covered dozens of factories and thousands of homes. The mud has blocked major roads into the country's second largest city, Surabaya.
Over the next few weeks, authorities plan to drop nearly 1,500 concrete balls, weighing up to 500 pounds each, into the geyser. A string of four balls was successfully lowered into the hole Saturday in heavy rain and wind, said Rudi Novrianto, a spokesman for a government task force handling the disaster. For full article: www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/02/25/AR2007022500014.html

The European Union (EU) is starting to make some big moves. They are starting up a ‘The European Research Council’ (ERC). The council has been given a budget of 2.7 billion Euros (~3.55 bn$) to try to acquire and secure global researchers into European Nations. To refresh some memories post WWII the US became the leading academic nation in the world. Rocketing us (yeah it’s a pun) global superiority and some of the most financially prospers decades of our nations history (not that it didn’t came with disadvantages also). However slowly increasing rise in scientific funding throughout Asia (in particular Japan (which is the US anyway), Korea, China and India) has lead to a decrease in Academic tenure within our nation’s borders. Now with Europe throwing its hat back into the ring, America is primed for a cataclysmic brain drain. news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6399157.stmnews.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/6337273.stm

Oh and also I am in the process of donig a peliminary full Battery drain. This is a good thing to do for any new electronic devices. you should always let rechargable batteries run dead every once and a while. It lengthens the batteries cell life.
I mention this because if you get dropped directly into voicemail you will know it is nothing personal, it is simply a acknowledgement of completion of battery drain.

Hello friends, I just wish to inform you that I have recently lost my mobile telephone. I have since purchased a new (kick-ass) phone, however all of my contacts have been lost. I am slowly trying to reasmble by contact lists, and I would like to include many of you on that list.
My phone number has remained the same so if it occurs to you either give me call or send a text (please include your name for this method). you can also flex the option of using the Private Message feature on this board, or drop me an email (kirkweir@geologist.com). and to my more geographically stable friends feel free to drop a writen address (I was thinking about collected these any way.
And to those of you whom wish never to hear from me again, well its your lucky day.

Still waiting for my free Beta Version membership, however just read today that on Feb. 20 Viacom signed on the joost train. Another source of content. Viacom includes suck illustrious networks as Mtv, and Spike TV, but most importantly Viacom owns Comedy Central. Looks like I might be watching 'South Park' and 'Daily show' again in my life. Which I have been quoted as saying those to programs are the only thing I miss from cable.

I am throwing this in the science section, because I am classifying under new "technology". Any of you guys/gals here about joost yet? (pronounced 'juiced'). It is this new internet provided television system. It is being developed by the same guys whom came up with Kazaa and skype. If I understand it right, it is going to be a free source of television over the internet (funded via advertisements (supposedly shorter and fewer than convensional TV)). and I am sure that 2.5 billion that Ebay spent on purchasing the proprietary rights for skype, aided them with their start up costs. I just signed up to be a beta tester (yes, still in beta phase), they are claiming they are handeling alot of requests so it may take some time before my account is up and running. They are also saying that their content is still limited, but a lot of music and documentary content supposedly available. check it out: www.joost.com/
