Melendy (Vermont Police officer) also said a concertgoer had been found dead in a tent sometime after the final set, which ended around 1 a.m. Monday. The young man, who appears to be in his early 20s, was found in the tent of people who didn't know him. He wasn't carrying any identification, and the cause of death is unknown, although Melendy said there's no indication of foul play.
"Some people came back after the concert to their tent and found him in the tent," Melendy said. An autopsy is scheduled.

I have been listening to phish's music for about 10 years (far less than many people, but way longer than some!) Anyway... I have read all 9 pages of reviews thus far of the Coventry show. I have to agree with EVERYONE OF YOU IN SOME WAY. 1). The show was highly emotional in so many ways. For that, this show was one of a kind. I saw the shows in a St. Louis simulcast and you could see the emotion up close and personal. 2). The jams were solid in several sections. Set 2 of the first night left the entire theatre with our mouths open. 3). Mike, Jon, and Page did an outstanding job of giving everything they could to us. Their genuine respect for their own music and for their fans was soooo apparent. For that I will forever look to their next projects and give them the support that they deserve. They left us like true phriends would. I love you guys. 4). Trey gave us some wonderful insight into some of the songs, but other than that "HE WAS URINATING IN THE PHANS EARS" and expected us to lap it up! I love you, Trey. I really do. You have been the source of so many beautiful experiences in my life, but it was so, so, so SAD to see you butcher your own compositions like that. You were out of it! I can't stress enough: It didn't make me MAD. It made me so very SAD. I just want you to get over whatever monkey is on your back. You don't need drugs! If you want to do something new musically, go ahead. We'll listen. But have some respect for us, the listeners. The people that were a part of you being able to perform music as a profession. HAVE SOME RESPECT FOR YOURSELF! You are so much better than wasting away your 40's with H, or coke, or whaterver! I know everyone in their heart agrees! Have some respect for your shows: Did you see Trey asking people to lift their shirts? If that's his kick at his final show, fine. But man...that's pretty lame. All in all, I did love Coventry. But Trey has to know that his behaviour is not acceptable or forgotten!

Well......................it's great to see Phish went out with a bang. Trey, thanks for murdering a lot of our favorites in your drug induced first and second set hazes on Saturday. And thank you Phish/Phish management for your deeeply sincere apology (and not at all templated) apology to all of those fans who put their lives on hold to get to Coventry, just to drive right back home. Was weather not taken into consideration in planning this event?? I just feel it was a terrible way to end the entity that is/was "PHISH". Trey.....if you have any comments you can contact me at kcbarry@uwm.edu.
