Well first of all it makes me think; either I don't know the differnece between "Total Page Views" & "Unique Page Views", or proboards (or whom ever this data comes from) has a real issue with their counting logarithum. These 2 numbers should not be the same.
However crunching some numbers, I find that these trends are not as troubling as they where at first view. Granted we do see a 68% decrease in veiws between Feb. 07 and Feb. 06. you have to go deeper into the numbers and you will notice that the month of January exhibits a 26% increase in both total and unique veiws over the past year.
if we just look at the last quarter (Nov -> Feb), we can see an overall increase of 3% in user veiwing between 2006 and 2007. I find this number to be extremely positive. There is a chance that veiws are seasonaly tied, however I would expect the veiws to be higher in the winter than the summer and the numbers completely contradict this hypothesis.
However, out of all the evidence presented in the above table, the question I would like to the answer to is; "what the hell happened during February of last year". If crunch the numbers of the six months following february (including February), and the six months before february we see an average increase of 326%. this number is extremely impressive.
Any one have the answer to what happened in February 2006?

I had no internet access in feb 06; leading to the shrinking number of page hits and unique views. Another thought is that JOe was so digusted with degicankfest '06 he took some time away from the board also.

Once again James sees trends in reverse. I am trying to explain why hits increased in Feb. 06 and he gives reasons for why less people where online.
I guess that proves it, Global warming does exist.
When did Econocank hit the web?
He did get me thinking though I checked to see when the first "this day in degicank" was and low and behold. february 8th 2006. Maybe I am the trend setter.

There's probably not a chance that those numbers are not truly representative of activity trends on this board.

Thats true, however I know that I for one always go through Degicank.com to link to this board. I can't say for sure but I would assume that I am not the only person who does that.

trends increased in Feb. '06 because that is when McCormick finally had internet access again after Jame's follies... It was also when the Chuck's Farm website began to be updated and more chatter began on the Chuck's part of the message board...
not like that is a major factor, but it probably had something to do with it...for the most part trends are trends, they are kind of like tornados or earthquakes...not entirely predictable.

Don't be crazy... As our coleuges here can attest I set up over 100 new websites at degigoogler and put out the super econo, and about 500 copies of other cds during the timeframe in question, every minor move in my expansion of our market saturation is noted and linked here. I can finnaly go beyond speculation and report I received an actual complaint and statement that a patron was so turned off (not offended, mad, or sad) by Bullcrap posts that they stayed away for awhile. Please, PLEASE, can you try to be positive and creative here just until 9/9/9, then I'll join you if you want in posting horrible offensive stuff...

This is for www.degicank.comI have little data on proboards2.com, but much more details for degicank.com We can see how many people are clicking on the forum link on degicank.com as some who have reviewed the detailed reports that have been provided in the past will attest to. I am not posting information on how to see that here but in the members only area you will find a thread with extremely detailed reports from the past. One of the issues with proboards is that we don't own this forum and we cannot see details like these statistics. Once the new servers are up and running we will start a new forum that I hope everyone will participate in, it will be deciding factor on how this whole www thing turns out for degicank. Joe I will probably take one of those shares if you can provide more specifics on the whole deal. How many shares total are their? Who currently owns the company? ETC. ETC...

I've been researching the net for a program to reverse engineer proboards just out of curiosity as I would never consider doing such a thing as its against proboards TOS. In my research I have not found anything.
We'll be ready to start accepting new material at the earliest on the 20th. If anyone wants to send me some stuff and can probably post it sooner, but everything will be going down around that time.
As far as your question about econocank that has been online for sometime. I'm not sure if your referring to econocank online or just econocank.degicank.com
This will be a big transition but I think it will be the best thing we could do right now.

I'll send you the details to Captain Geek. There were initially 20 shares, there are 16 left. I encourage you all to get involved. The 20 stock holders will be entitled to many benefits outlined in the Business plan being sent to those interested. Also off the books, my regular mailings(econo/quartre/etc.) will be restricted to the 20 stock holders for the life-cycle of the project (now-9/9/9). This system will also produce 1000 Seasonal Sampler Cd's and a final stockholder's choice compilation that will be given out for free. This should appeas the open-source/free-art proponents here at degicank. Remember, we're not trying to corporatize Degicank. Degicank is free/coop. This project is for degicank records, a minor but important distinction. Please email degicank@gmail.com for complete details...

Im in the board room now but it seems that there is some technical difficulties. Lets setup another board meeting, perhaps a little more notice next time? I can do anytime today until 10PM EST.
Can I have a stock reserved for myself?
I'll save the rest questions for the next board meeting, can we have the medina street office onboard for this important meeting?
