I find it interesting that Christa should be the cause of moderation-talk on not one, but 2 message boards, years after the fact. I have no objections either way to modding the thread as I am not a real moderator anyway

whoa Buddy,
I don't know about that one. If this were my thread I would be tempted to abort the above post. I wouldn't want a picture of my daughter on some hippies website under these circumstances.
The choice is yours clay. But I for one, I vote to censor.
I was bending desency but this clearly breaks it.
What the hell has gotten into you cank, I feel you give me no choice but to smite you on your inappropriate behavior.

I was commenting on YOUR indecent joke. My point was that Katrina was a very serious event and should not have been taken lightly...I figured you wouldn't make any more jokes on the subject if you had to stare at a poor soul who also did not find your brand in humor funny.
MY POST WAS IN NO WAY INTENDED TO BE FUNNY OR EVEN REMOTELY LIGHT HEARTED. I WAS COMMENTING ON A VERY SERIOUS ISSUE WITH A VERY SERIOUS PICTURE.
I appologize to people who did not want to see that, but it was real...and it is something I think that should not be forgotten about how real it was. NOR made a joke of.
My sincerest condolences for the few hours that pic was posted...but just remember, that and many many other pictures on that subject are all over the internet...so lets try to not turn a blind eye to one of the most horrible mistakes by hundreds of government officials, politicians, ect. in United States history.

I think you are still missing the point of the joke. I am not quite sure how you can interpret my comments as a pun on the victims of Katrina. This joke was clearly directed towards FEMA, and there handeling of the event.
and I also stand by my "ohh, to soon" comment, because again it was directed towards an governmental organization that won't take the scouldeing it deserves on this issue. oddly enough they tend to use the same tatic as you, and blame the media for attacking the actual event rather allowing the press to honestly express theie disconntent at FEMAs handeling of the event. you should send a resume to Bill O'Rielly I am sure he is looking for a quick thinking young go getter like you, to aid him in defending ever action our government takes.
If you are telling me that political satire is offensive, even in the shadow of a tradgedy like Katrina, then you better go a dig a big hole and lay down in it. Political satire is one of the foundations of our free press. Satire is used to express opinions, even in sensitive situations, to allow individuals to remark on there feelings of an events handeling. what your post contained was a shook tactic (still readily used in todays media) to also express an opinion, however it serves to stimulate fear as its selling point. For over 200 years our nation has prefered the use of humor allowing a slight disconnect from the individual to the event, but hopefuly ending with the same conclusion.
you can sit here and write an essay about your post and how it was directed to me and wasn't meant to be disrespectful towards any individual. but I am staying with my initial staement that I bent desancy on this board, but you broke it.
