Anyone noticed that James has been expressing an affinity for the femme pop stars of the 80s lately

(Lost in the anti-chamber in 99', still the most unexplained event in my life. Looked everywhere for that CD, I truly am starting to believe that it either fell into another dimension, or I drunkingly mailed it to my self in the future Vis the Hydrocelator. I prefer to believe the later, one day it will be sitting on my desk. Thats why I stilll keep the case) It may have been stolen by the same party that stole my 20th? birthday present that Joe got me. I suspect a shedevil.

Hi Soy Joe Speers.

I know James/Chris/Jack wanted us to roll oiut a "planet 22 pop band set" to try to impress new people. The problem was the people weren't new people, they were our friends. They saw that POP22 show ten million times at the Apalachain Brewing Co. Personnalyy I like having things tight, that Unobop was atotally improve set. I though it was a rare oppurtunity to see what the band could do with out crutches, also we got other musicians up there miwed up with us. It wasn't TRL man, I thought the promoter had specifically told me ahead of time that we were there to have fun. Two points to your statement above Joe... 1) I may have reflected negatively on your performance that night, but that was in no way my opinion on the music, it was my opinion on the reaction of the crowd....BUT, I must say that I for one had lost my mind that night, so much so that I had to entrust James with my car to get us home to S.C. So, basically, I would not like to be sandwiched between James and Jack in this "naysayers trio"...my only comment was that I felt other folks didn't seem to be down with it....and I hope you will remember that comment, because I distinctly do and if you give me a call I can tell you the exact time and place where I said that. 2) "....that POP22 show ten million times at the Apalachain Brewing Co. Personnalyy I like having things tight, that Unobop was atotally improve set. I though it was a rare oppurtunity to see what the band could do with out crutches...." WHAT?!?!? Just to clarify, didn't you guys play App Brew Co. three times? and, how many people from UNO Bop were there??? And, really? that was the only time P22 improved??? I don't believe that for one hot minute. I think the ONLY assumption that one can make out of the whole UNO Bop 5 event was that EVERY one was on a different trip that night...so everyone's perceptions are not in agreement.... Let me go on record due to the history of events that have transpired before and after UNO Bop 5 to now say that it was one of the greatest performances in Planet 22's career.

hey i was at that unobop and thought the p22 was the right sound for the right time. i was steady telling nelly to keep her belly.... close to mine... if you know what i'm saying. i've got to respectfully disagree with the thought that it was garbage, i found it to be quite psychadelic and like someone pointed out in a round about way pop familiarity does not an improvisational psychadelic experience make. old ways, it sure is hard to change' em, come what may, it's hard to teach a dinasaur a new trick even if the dinasaur has traversed the 22 fold path and is familiar the concepts of seven layers heaven seven layers hell. keep in mind there could very well be 8 more layers!
