I just wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone in degicank land. As you all know it has been quite a while since the last time I was here. I am very excited to announce that Dirty Vegas just bought his very first electric guitar and is very happy about the purchase. To go along with that how about a 75 watt amp and a pretty cool Ibinez delay pedal for some strange sci-fi sounds. I am not sure I like the pedal, I enjoy playing clean much more but it is fun to experiment. I am writing some good stuff these days. Electric is bringing me into a new world and expanding my brain into thinking differently than I could with accoustic. This is big news for me, just wanted to share. It sounds excellent. Maybe I will try to record some samples and some how send a tape or CD or something. That would be cool.
Any way, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!
Who is going to be in Springfield, PA for the week of Christmas? I will...who wants to hang out and celebrate with a little Christmas cheer?
Let me know.

Ol' Dirty V! Good to hear from you! You should record some stuff and send it to me, kelleher@degicank.com.
You should go to Warner's on the 30th, I do believe a plethora of friends of ours will be there.
If you want to find me on the 30th of dec., go down to the Italian Market, I'll be doing a plein air painting of the Italian Market where Kordish slings bananas. 8th and Washington. Stop by and give me a critique.
Peace, Chris

You see everytime he drinks he pissess off a special little someone, I hope he didn't get in trouble for seeing friends from over 3,000 miles away the day before NYE
Better luck BTK

James I hope you are doing well. I miss everybody. Let me make it clear that Iam allowed to do whatever I want just like you. But when you have a girlfriend or whatever, you are now thinking for not only one brain, but rather two. She has come a long way with me and she knows of my dedication to her. If I want to be selfish and only think of what is good for me than I wouldn't have a girlfriend. It's not easy always, especially when their is a 1000 mile difference in the equation. On the other hand, I am so darn busy at my job and with my art and flying to Florida, and trying to save money, and planning my future, etc, that it would be near to impossible to do much of anything else right now. I miss all of you guys terribly and think of everybody often. But let me tell you how much progression and growth has come out of me since I stopped putting so much energy into partying and replaced that motivation into my craft. You should hear my guitar now. I am happy with what I have. I hope I can see you all soon however. Come to Springfield and hang out. My pool table is resurfaced and is awesome. Beter than a bar table. Come and hang out, my girlfriend won't mind. And actually she wishes she were here to "join us, yes". She really wants to meet all of my friends. She has already hung out with Adam and Ros a few times and likes them very much. So please don't be bitter. Understand that we cannot all live like we are 20 for the rest of our lives. I still party, don't get me wrong, just different now. I definitely expect a long and involved response from this one. Check out my site www.mesart.com/bkinder

Brain,
I am dumbfounded that you've actually taken a little time to explain life a little to this Jackass.

Hey i wanted to post in the DV zone and give shouts to the vegas tattoo shop that got set up in Caleb's house last weekend. I hear some folks went to work the next day with their graphics still intact.

Just sending a shout out to BTK. Not the BTK killer but Brian Thomas kinder. He has recently played his first "stand in" gig at a bar he's rarely been to with some old time blues guys he barely knew. Way to muster up the balls and play under these circumstances.
Anything else we should be aware of Brian? Keep up the good work.
Did you notice the last two posts have your birthday involved? wierd.

Hey James I didn't see you down there. Nice of you to stop by and say hello. It was scary getting the balls to do that, but once I got going I just rode it out and it felt good. The real scary thing was that I had to initiate the song (very loudly) with my guitar. For that particular song begins with some whaling guitar playing.
You should check out my recent posting for my esnips site where I have my most recent and best recordings up. When you listen to All Your Love, just note that toward the end of the main solo, it gets a bit hairy and I know I need to rework it. It really works well up until that point, then I start to cringe when I hear my mistakes. All in all, I have some pretty good sounding stuff. Red House is my favorite, I think you'll like it.
By the way, I am working in Fairfax Virginia for aboyut a month. I brought my Electric and needed to come up with a way to rock out in my hotel room without anybody being disturbed by noise. So I made my way over to Medley music yesterday where I picked up this fancy schmancy little guitar efects processor (it rocks and can is comopatable to hook up with my digital 8-tyrack later on) and a proffessional set of music headphones and that is all you need. I plug my guitar into the input and my headset into the headphone jack, plug the unit into a wall and have a blast.
