To post pictures in a thread, click the little portrait Icon above the smilie faces. you will see "{img}URL{/img}" Inside the 2 brackets, place the URL or internet address/location of the image inbetween the 2 brackets. Some ISP's and websites do not allow remote linking. That means that when you link to an image on their site without permission, you will see the image in your browser because its cached in your computer, but the rest of the world won't be able to see it . So be careful. or everone will see When you post pictures...

here's the problem: But the image i want to post is not on any webpage, but rather, on my computer at home. I used to maintain the Uno webpage but have lost the passwords and access. In any case i was never sure how to go about doing web modification from my house, but this is all a different issue.
Short of sending someone with a webpage my graphic, isnt there any provision on 'proboards' or whatever for uploading images? On yahoogroups (the host of red9) we have an 'image' area where anyone can upload, similar to an attachment on an email...?
If anyone has thoughts on this they are welcome to share, since i bet we all have artwork etc that could be included in this thought-experiment.....
PS> i am reading Galapagos by Vonnegut for the first time and so far i must recommend it...that is, if his sort of writing has turned your crank in the past.

I love it
Careful with the yahoo groups pictures. I've had problems with linking them in the past. They dont like people stealing there bandwidth by hosting and then posting an image like this on a message board. If 10000 people download this pic from here they notice and cut the link. Thats why the link is all funky, it looks like an encrypted link...
Best bet is to create a free webpage with all the pics you love and just send people there.
Even if I hosted a pic for you on the p22 site, it would not show up here because our host does not allow remote linking...
Your pictures are showing up find for me here, so what ever your doing seems to be the right way.
