I was thinking about making three or four different 7x11" posters to sell at cost at chucks farm this year. I want to print them on a glossy card stock so they will last but due to the rough fiscal period I am experiencing I have to make back the money I spend. Estimates are that a poster will cost between 50-75 cents each. I would like to know if people think that this is good idea or am I just wasting my time hear?

If I get my settlement, I'd definitely buy one. I've heard you aren't supposed to sell and buy stuff a chucks but that doesn't make sense because I know i have seen people selling stuff there , maybe we can ask the head honcho... If he's down we should think about doing t-shirts, josh how long does it take to get a batch of t-shirts made. I know a lot of heads would throw down for a chuck's farm t-shirt...

3-4 weeks to get tees after artwork is prespared in high res. If we acted Fast, REAL Fast we could do it.
Who covers the cost? 100 white sirts w/ one color print on one side ~ $300-$400

I don't know how the big man would feel about it either, I figured if no profit was to be had no toes would be stepped on. If i could find a willing investor i would give them away for free, however since no investors have been located, and I have no resources to spair, at cost disrtibution is nessecary.

All very good ideas to bring with you at the informal planning meeting friday september 12th at C3 J1 in State College. Not to be confused with J2 C2 in vermont. "Dogs and cats living together, mass histeria..." Bill Murray, Ghostbusters

How did you know that the 20th 2 minute techno song apearing on Econo 9 is based around the sample "dogs and cats's living together" ?
I'll upload it imediately...
please send me a message regarding abbreviation protocall.
Can you guys contact Matt and Kordish and see when they can make it to Chuck's. I'll be happy just to get a chance to play there. Preferable between 4-5 am for a traditional degicank set.

I hope you guys aren't going to tear the PA down halfway through the night again. I remember when this Chuck's used to be an all night party. Bring back the good old days!

Jack's Farm is out. They play new york somewhere the two nights of chuck's. Cave man will have to be squeezed in on friday and then early on saturday (not too early I guess) I will not dick these guys but Gwinn incorporated shouldn't be planning things when they are not based in State College.
Friday nights planning meeting turned out well but I will offer another deadline to those of little planning skills. Wednesday at 3pm will be the abosulte cut-off for bands requesting time at this years chucks farm. No BS, Caveman would have recieved better billing but the line up organizing group got no word of it until after the line-up was tentatively mapped.
These bands will most likely have to start playing before 5pm on friday or before 3pm on saturday. there is no late night opening available (other than squeezing caveman in somewhere; perhaps negating one night of planet 22)

James,
Have you spoken with chuck about the line-up? Chuck arranged to have Caveman play the "party slot" friday night and Planet 22 would play late night Friday and saturday.
If you're bumping caveman, it would only be "professional" to give them plenty of notice:
mikepolans@yahoo.com
My notes from my conversation with Mike Polans 8-27-03:
"Caveman would prefer to play later fri if possible. 2 Hr set. Start at approx. Midnight. Would like to know more about sound."
I don't think it would be nice to change the plan on them. Chuck and I had a teleconference-planning-meeting 8-27-03 and arranged to have Caveman Playing the Party set Fri
