Sounds like the Bush administration allowed some of our major ports to be sold the UAE.
Not too sure if this is a real bad thing or not, but it is slightly alarming that our president was not even aware of this (6 Billion $) deal until a day after it happened.
Regardless of this incident, nothing has made me want to leave the USA more then this administration.
I would also say that if there was a draft in the next couple of years I would probably either leave the country or otherwise. I would have never said that in my life a few years ago, as I was and still am a very patriotic.

That's not exactly true about Bush. He approved the UAE goverment ran company a little while ago. He just didn't mention it to to many people.
But the facts are half of the East ports and 90% of the westcoast ports in this country are owned by foreign companies, not to mention the lion's share of American Utilities. The only stink is caused by the locale of this nation.
My personal issue is that the UAE is where Michael Jackson lives, this makes me a little Leary of the nation. plus I think Satr Jones went on her honeymoon there
