Easy
All windows operating systems have a feature called autoplay. It reads this autoplay file off the cd and you can have it do what ever you want, you can have a splash welcome graphic or just a plain text file pop up. We'll have to revise the econocank to do this feature. Very easy to do. It works on all windows pc's since win 95. So dont make to many of the original econo CD's, and don't give me any crap about changing the CD around Joe, because this is the Econo CD and I envisioned this back in the late 80's but you and James said that the only format that you'd use is MIDI because you thought it was the highest quality.

Pinwheel: Hey for Joe or anyone else who is interested, here is a link to the Pinwheel theme song. Especially nice is the "ending themesong"....perhaps this one might be useful for degiprojects in the future? Scroll down the page to the Pinwheel links. Requires Realplayer to play, but thats a free software package. www.johnsrealmonline.com/classicnick/multimedia/index.htmlPs. Billy you are mr. smart. Dont think me/us too dilapidated for the likes of mp3, even though they degrade over many copies. Anyway our computer have that f***ing Windows ME which is so shitty it never seems to know what format things are in. Degicank read as "audio files", not 'mp3'. What a dork. big huffa shoutouts to state colllegee!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -_CLay

Thanks for your consulting on this Clay. Any feed back is a great help, and thanks a lot for handing out those p22 cd's. What cd burner program are you using? You should be able to just load the Mp3's in to burn them like they are already wave files....
Bill, I'm afraid it is you who are mistaken. While you still lived at Mommy's house me and Priar worked with Mr. Martorelli at ETR on the original Punch Card Computer Econo Cank. This was probably in the Spring of 1988. Also we worked on basic progaming, and I made a Basic AI program. this was before James invented C++, but you are right in the end. We sent the econ plans to Clay and had him put them in Stu-E computer to send them 5 years into the futre so we could use mp3's.

I would like to revise the original econo's 1 and 2 to be able to do that... You can reseach this and figure it out, but if you want I will program it and send it to you via email...
This is also one of the exclusions that duqiknow villages would like added to be able to finalize the contract.

mkw is a great tool unfortunately using it to turn mp3s into .shn's into wavs would be degrading the usefulness of the tool. I use the mkw to run md5 scans and to uncompress shn to wav. Perhaps Degicank could be researching the compression of shn or wav or a format that is lossless and just as "small" a file as an mp3.
