This excerpt was taken from www.secretgovernmentlabs.com/page/matterstates"Well what about Fermionic Condensate?!? 2004 April 15 - 20:57 GMT Ernie Fermionic condensate would be a Bose-Einstein condensate. 2004 May 5 - 21:31 GMT Bert www.cnn.com/2004/TECH/science/01/28/matter.new.reut/Actually..... its related but not the same thing... from what I understand here..... The new matter form is called a fermionic condensate and it is the sixth known form of matter -- after gases, solids, liquids, plasma and a Bose-Einstein condensate, created only in 1995. "What we've done is create this new exotic form of matter," Deborah Jin, a physicist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology's joint lab with the University of Colorado, who led the study, told a news conference. is a scientific breakthrough in providing a new type of quantum mechanical behavior," added Jin. Jin and her colleagues' cloud of supercooled potassium atoms is one step closer to an everyday, usable superconductor -- a material that conducts electricity without losing any of its energy. "It is related to a Bose-Einstein condensate," Jin said. "It's not a superconductor but it is really something in between these two that may help us in science link these two interesting behaviors.".... 2005 February 14 - 20:20 GMT luke. I am a ninth grader and may not have the background in physics that some of you may have, but I have to say that Bose-Einstein condensate is different from fermionic condesate. Bose-Einstein condensate is made by supercooling bosons, while fermionic condensate comes from fermions. As fermions and bosons are two completely different types of particles, it would make sense that their condensates would also be different. That's why there should be seven states of matter rather than six." So it appears there technically could be 7 states of matter.

So the Six States of Matter are as follows:
Bose-Einstein condensate >>> Solid >>> Liquid >>> Gaseous >>> Plasma >>> Filament

The Fifth State of Matter: Filaments "Taking this into consideration, the filaments should belong to “the fifth state of matter”. Sparks, electron beams in TV, lightnings, ion jets in the spacecraft Deep Space 1, in accelerator machines like CERN, ions in the future fusion-reactor, solar coronae, flares, jets of young stars, jets at black holes and at neutron stars (electric magnetars) belong to this most energetic state of matter. Solar flare-particles have 1010 eV, those of the hottest plasma (in supernovae) only 105 eV. Filaments are the largest bodies of the Universe. These filaments and jets have an exact circular cross section, can oscillate and are produced electrically from e.g. plasma. Its particles move in only one direction i.e. without the thermal zig-zag. The fifth state of matter is also a non-thermal state! Interestingly, particles in the most energetic state of matter do not emit heat due to their flight along straight lines. These particle-motions in filaments were already named recently: “non-thermal motions”. For example, the solar wind has a “non-thermal velocity” of 750km/s which would need a solar surface of 24 million Kelvin. Solar mass ejection of a “non-thermal velocity” of 1500 km/s should have 96 MK." -L. Körtvélyessy www.electric-universe.de/Scripts/six_states.html

0 Stage of Matter: Bose-Einstein condensate. "One of the states of matter is the Bose-Einstein condensate. It has zero thermal-energy. We should give the number zero to it; also because of its proximity to the 0K. Its popular name of the “fifth state of matter” is clearly incorrect since heated plasma will never be transformed to this Bose-Einstein condensate." -L. Lets get this DEGICANK FEST ROLLING!
Hey Joe, Do you have the number for the guy that owns the VFW so we can get this guy rolling.
I have a guy that is going to professionally record it. We can use my PA, or if anyone else has one better-- Eli? That'd be cool. I don't think we need much there though.
Anyone else have any ideas for this fest? We could use some volunteers for collecting art supplies and building the canvas.
Clary, Can you talk to Strawberry Fields and the Arc about getting them to come to the Fest?
Lets keep this topic HAT so we can get this fest rollin!

SABAT!!! State College summer slum update!!! Well, everything is going great here at Deg I Cank headquaters! We are doing absolutely nothing. However, Degicank.com will be online in the near future (by the end of the summer). We are enjoying a great 4th of July brought to us by Fitch Inc. and the Unoclank crew!!! Unfortunately some of us must never stop, some of us must keep the light on for the others... that is why this fourth of July some DegICankians are hard at work in the bowels of Accuweather. So lets not forget about our greatest sponsor of all-- Accuweather. Arts Fest wil soon be arriving and 100,000 people will once more paint the town drunk!!! That will be fun. There are rumors of Tribe Called Quest playing. So that could be fun. All Planet 22 fans are excited to hear about the summer tour updates and can't wait for their east coast fall tour! So thats it for good ol S.C. Hope y'all are having a good time out west and good luck on the rest of your adventures. Where is Tad!?!?!

The new Deg I Cank literary magazine is hot off the press and ready to be read!!! It is titled "Banned Width" at has submissions by such well known artists as Brian Kinder, The Vortman, Samantha Erway, Dru Marice Herger... just to name a few!!! This new Mag is coming out Bi-weekly as well as being published on the internet (yet to be revealed). So hold on to your spectacles my fellow Cankians, this ones HAT!!!! The first issue even debuts a sneak peek at the first Deg I Cank motion picture screenplay, "Twenty-two"!!!!! The magazine is called " Banned Width" and if you would like a copy mailed to your home, you may subscribe at BannedMail@yahoo.com. The subscription is for a lifetime and is free, however, if you would like to make a small donation to the production costs, that would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you would like to submit anything for future " Banned Width" magazines, also email me you submissions at BannedMail@yahoo.com. Submit anything you want wether it be a poem, short story, photograph, drawing, painting, parable, phrase, quote...anything and everything...so long as it is not copyrighted. In the near future there will be a P.O. Box that all submissions can be mail to. I will post that soon. So, I hope you all enjoy the new publications and if I don't see any of y'all soon, i hope I see ya at the Third and Twelth annual Deg I Cank "Timequake Festival"!!!!
