Primal beats, maybe. But techno sucks. The rave pit is a really dumb idea. I don't remember seeing or hearing anyone (possibly other than some dumb DJ) having fun down there. Eat your pocket full of drugs and go watch the real music.

it was really fine, they just need to move it. there is no where to dance! also, djs, no one wants to hear you talk through a microphone. speak with your hands. (stop yappin)
good basslines and a select crowd of the truest made this year's chucks a mudclusterf***ed bonanza. fun fun fun
sucks it is the end of the season, see you guys next year.
THANK YOU CHUCK

Ravers and rockers agree... Another perfect Chuck's Farm for the history books.
What was up with that pirate stage?

Yeah, what WAS up with that Pirate Stage? I heard somebody say all the children banded together, floated down the river of mud and built their own stage on the starboard side of Chuck's. Somebody better watch out for those kids...they'll be out at Chuck's on their own in another 18 years and proud to say they're descendants of Pirates!

Yes i agree the rave pit was great. Dont get me wrong, the main stage was out of control. The pit always gets a bad rep tho, but Eric and even Chuck himself were down in the zombie zoo gettin low down and funky with the freak beats.
i have some info on the djs if you want to look me up on facebook. just look up elliott henry. it should say im from state college, pa and go to lock haven class of '10.
oh and joe, you funky bass junky from the planet 22, i met you down by the kitchen fire on sunday morning. you should also look me up on facebook if you have it. if not just email me at ellpunk80@yahoo.com
anyone have any videos from the pit this year ??

Kitchen was fine, good vibe and crossroads to kitchen or rave. Ellpunk was holding it down in the kitchen last I saw. Everything was good. I hate cleaning out my car and finding all the CDs I thought I left in VT. I'll have to just send them to Ellpunk to hand out at GD,PHISH,Obama concert. Some people may remember the APB on Birdsong a few years back to find the tapes from Chuck's. I didn't relize it was someone I've hung out with for the last 11 years, but we got it figured out and the sets from years back will finaly make it on to econoncank. On the otherside of the same coin I messed up the recordings this year. After messing up recording the unbelievable(possibly best of show) MJ Project set, I thought, Ok I know what I did wrong, we're all set for sat night. Sta night I checked, rechecked, checked, rechecked and wrote a note on my clip board, only to run over at the end of P22 set to see i forgot to press record. I remeber pressing record, and writting down on the clipboard I started at 7:06 pm. Must be ghosts in there messing with me. Anyhow, if any one has a photo of p22 or better yet video clips, please, please send me a copy at degicank@gmail.com. I'm basically having a panic attack about messing up the recording, it makes it seem to me as if it may not have realy happened. On that note though, I know it happened, and to see our friends all hanging out was a great thing. I felt like Luke at the end of Jedi when he looks at everyone partying and even sees their friends who are standing right beside them as ghosts, hanging out and having a good time.
I did get a recording of the last 3 bands of sat. night, I will mail them CDs as soon as they give me some information regarding the bag I had lifted from the stage containing binoculars and a brand new pack of nickle sunyshine bass strings(40$). Anyone with info contact degicank@gmail.com or post here. On that subject... Stolen items: -Bag with binoculars, bass strings - A red acoustic guitar -A cooler with a radio inside
If anyone has these items please give them up. There will be no retribution if you just give back the stuff. If you choose to face Karma, that is your descision...
Next up: -Pirate Stage at GD, Phish, Obama 10/13/8 -Possible P22 at Phyrst Thanksgiving Weekend -DEGICON 8 - 12/27/8 - VFW post #22 Philadelphia PA - P22, MH current formation, TDS, VWB, BID or Bool -Summer 09 - Degicank/Planet 22 Summer North America Tour... Its been 6 years since our last N. America tour, I hope everyone reading this can plan on coming to at least on of the shows. I'm hoping to get Chuck to let us launch or land at the farm...
See y'all on the farm!

I hope the stolen items get returned,
I couldn't imagine being competent enough to steal binoculars, that means somebody spent the weekend a little too clear headed.
Actually I watched my chair walk off in front of me and it never came back. But i wanted to jam anyway, sitting was overrated.
Rave Pit Forever (except maybe we should move it to a field of some kind so i can jam in circles really fast.)
okay I am going to work now
