PS. I grin everytime i read about someone not liking planet 22. Ive been lucky enough to ride the rise-of-fame of two big acts who now are mad-rich off music that people hated, and on the way up, the most consistant thing ive noticed about great art is that there are always people hating and saying that it sounds boring or dumb or not enough vocals etc.
Ha ha on you foolish mortals!
Here is my thought: --less vocals --more straightjacket --chaos --patience --synchopation (sp) --ambiance --chuckaluck --everyone remembering: --a good attitude --an angry gameface --josh gwinn with his head bowed over the drumkit --a motorcycle jumping over a fire --giant interstellar transmissions --i lost my flashlight too, some schwill girl stole it --art for arts sake --everyone in the whole universe loves planet 22 more than their own mother!!

"I like that note to be the one i wanted" -Unoclay Excellent advice... Jammers should not just play to hear themselves. By planning each note in response to what you are hearing the ensemble play can lead to realy neat places.
P22- Thanks for the great review, we'll do our best!
New Englanders... Look for Acoustic 22 playing live tomorrow night, call me for details...

Hey the birthday cds are so awesome i made Tara listen to them 3x. She was like, "I can hardly believe thats the same caleb i know". And i was all like, "are you even listening to josh and eli". And she said, "Its a good cd but can we listen to something else tomorrow, we've heard it like 5 times now". And i said, "get ready for chuck's fram, bay-b"

Absolutely the best Harvest festival in a long while for my crew. Great new stage, at least the stereo was clean. great crowd and lot of fun. I really think that the best part about chuck's is the 3-5 range when you just chat with those that can hold there shit and stay awake.
Thank you Chuck, you are a gentlemen and a scholar, and big fat thanks to hay sugar for soundin' sexy, The Man for melting my face with that funk, and whoever made that gigantic glow stick man, CLEVER
maybe next time we could stop one or two of them from leaving at 4 in the morning to drive home.
blessed be, til next season

thanks for everything, everyone. It was a really good time. Its a shame that many of the degicank and uno people were "degi-cant" and "u-no" for a trip to the farm this year, however i still had a lot of fun, especially during the p22 show. That was the freakin heady, as they say. Very well rendered and i think it really surprised some of the newcomers who hadnt seen the band before. Albeit the 330 AM-830 AM timeslot was a little weak for turnout...i think a lot of people were eaten alive by the cold. I know I almost succumbed a few times but kept thinking how sweet it would be. FISHLIPS!!!!
Thanks to tDS and all the other friends as well. I had a good time and am very very tired now because i only slept a tiny bit today and none last night, join the crowd, right? Well at least James got a good nights rest.

Yeah james got a good nights rest. that is until dago-pat gave him a little kick. I don't know if anyone else saw it, but right after that little kick james jumped out of his chair and went UFC style style all over pat's face. Besides the great music, that was my favorite part of the weekend.

Well, I did again. Lost my flashlight. Other than that, I had yet another great time. Much mellower crowd this year which is always nice. tDS killed it once again on Saturday.
Can't wait til next year.

Ha ha! I wish there was some pictures of James and Pat having a fight. I must have been 'not there' for that part.
Another thing I wanted to say was that the people who made the parade (rasta glowsticks, costumes, etc) were super great. I really liked that idea and think maybe it would be great if we could do something like this next year.

GREAT JOB AT CHUCK'S FARM EVERYBODY! And thanks to Dr. Captain FeelGeeK at www.DEGICANK.com for the logistical support. It was great to see the next generation of Chuck's farmers out there: Michael (Coleete & Leon), Jerimy(I think that's his name) Boo's 2 month old, and my Ava, were having fun playing soccer, climbing on the past out hippie jungle gym, and watching James and Pat uh, Wrestle ( I have a photo, it looks like james is trying to jump over pat). Incredible bands this Time, and the return of the New Fully Operational Hydrocelatore. Ava and I stopped to talk to some guys, cause Ava had noticed them twirling those tiki sticks(you know those two sticks and you twirl yhe third stick?) We were talking for a few minutes when I noticed the car next to us had the hydrocelatore in the back seat with a new Chorograph display and Radar dish! I ask the guys about it, and they weren't too sure about what it was here for. I'm not to sure either, but thanks a lot to the Hydrocelatore restoration Crew!!! This is always a Black Tuesday for me, had so much fun a Chuck's missed work Monday, and you wake up tuesday and don't know howe you got here from Friday. Maybe I'm getting old, but I swear this Chuck's went by in one of the quickest blinks of the eye. I realy missed you folks that couldn't make it this time, I hope you'll be there next time. There are few resources as valuable as Chuck's in our transient society for keeping in touch with old great friends, and all of those friends who you recognise well enough to know they are your friend, but you forget their name for the 363 days in between hanging out at Chuck's. Most of all thanks again to Chuck! MAD PROPS! BIG UPS! WHAZZZ-UP!!!!
